I hate the SuperBowl.  I’ve never been able to get excited about a bunch of guys in tight pants brutalizing each other for our enjoyment. But I LOVE the Puppy Bowl.  What’s that, you say? It’s puppies, playing on a “football field.”  That’s it. And it’s adorable.  Which is why I was so happy when Mohawk Flooring, one of the official sponsors of Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl , invited me, as a #CollectiveBias member, to The Puppy Bowl experience to see it live.

Now, you may be wondering why a flooring company invited me to the Puppy Bowl.  Glad you asked.  It’s because Mohawk carpeted the entire 15,000 square foot Puppy Bowl Experience space with their new, verging on too-good-to-be-true-but-it-is-true SmartStrand carpeting. It’s built-in stain and soil protection  is, well, built in!  It’s not just some coating that’ll  wear off.  As a matter of fact, it never washes or wears off,  for the life of the carpet. (Which – I asked – is about ten years.)  And, as anyone with a pet knows, stain protection is ESSENTIAL when you have a pet. ESSENTIAL!

Plus, while the carpet they used for the space is pretty flat (makes sense – the Puppy Bowl Experience is FREE! and is in Times Square – lots of feet will be walking those floors!) the sample they gave me is soft and fluffy.  Soft, fluffy, and stain free?  Sign me up. (and I mean that.  I think I’m going to rip up my super-expensive all wool totally stained Master Bedroom carpet and get this stuff. It’s NYC – can’t keep it clean!)

ANYWAY – the Puppy Bowl Experience is the cutest thing to hit Times Square ever!  Plus, it’s free and fun and there’s tons for your kids to do:

Plus, it’s all about the dogs, really, so all of the puppies came from the ASPCA!  They are  now all adopted, but the ASPCA is there to tell you how to adopt your own pet.  Mo (the Mohawk dog) really does want to #ShareMoLove, so go like him on Facebook, and he can share your love with other dogs!
