It’s Christmas. My most Jewish time of the year.
For the vast majority of people in this country, Christmas day is filled with the thrill of gifts, the joy of family, the excitement on children’s faces and giving thanks for the blessings of the year. For me, Christmas is about making sure the kids have something to do, since all the stores and museums will be closed, and giving thanks that Chinese restaurants deliver — even on Christmas Day.
